With the cold weather, here's an activity for indoors. Ball up a pair of socks and use a laundry basket, hamper, or even a trash can to use as a basketball goal. Practice trick shots, plat H-O-R-S-E, or even a little one-on one! For more difficulty, place obstacles, (defenders), around/in front of the basket.

Jumping rope is a great way to stay fit and have fun all at the same time. It also does not take too much space or special equipment. Ropes don't have to be fancy and can probably be made from something you already have around the house. Click HERE to see a video for jump rope instructions and challenges for all ability levels. Click HERE for a video for those who have NEVER jump roped before and want to give it a try!
juggling
Think juggling is magic, or impossible? Think again! The 3 videos below will get you well on your way to becoming a juggling master. The videos are in a beginning, (grades K-1), intermediate, (grades 2-3), and advanced (grades 4-5) format. My advice is to start with video 1 no matter your grade level- just to refresh yourself with some of the basics learned in PE class along the way. Progress to the next video when you feel ready. REMEMBER, mastering any skill takes time and lots of PRACTICE! Be patient, and by the end of the week, you might just be ready to join the circus! Click on the video choices below
Have fun with a single balloon! Click HEREto watch a video to learn some simple, yet challenging activities you can do by yourself or with other family members using a single balloon. But don't stop after practicing just what's on the video. Use your creativity to think up other exciting and challenging stunts and activities- the sky's the limit!
